Benefits Offer Under the Scheme
- Financial Assistance in case of death: Rs 50,000 (natural death), up to Rs 2,00,000 (accidental death)
- Disability compensation: Rs 50,000 up to Rs 2,00,000
- Provident fund: Full contribution paid by government (no worker payment)
- Free coverage: Entire scheme is cost-free (premium paid by state)
Eligibility:
- Age: 18 to 60 years
- Residency: Must be a resident of West Bengal
- Occupation: Must be an unorganized sector worker (including self-employed)
- Category coverage: Worker should fall under list
- Family income within Rs 6500 per month (except construction and transport workers)
