The West Bengal Migrant Worker Welfare Scheme provides financial assistance in case of death and disability to migrant workers from the state working in other regions.

Benefits Offer Under the Scheme

Financial Assistance in case of death

• 50,000 to nominee for natural death
• 2,00,000 to nominee for accidental death
• 25,000 for Repatriation of dead body
• If death occurs out side the states, General benefit Rs 3000
• Disability Benefit: Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh

Eligibility

• Must be a resident of West Bengal
• Between 14 and 60 years of age
• Must be employed or likely to be employed outside West Bengal (in other states/UTs or abroad).

Application Details:

• Login to "Karmasathi Parijayee Shramik Portal"
• Register using mobile number (OTP) and fill personal, address, and employment details
• Upload required documents and submit to generate MWIN (ID number)
• Log into the "Karmasathi Parijayee Shramik Portal"
• Fill claim details, upload supporting documents, and submit application online
